About This Test
Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) is a highly advanced screening test performed during pregnancy to detect chromosomal abnormalities by analyzing fetal DNA fragments in maternal blood. The screening has over 99% sensitivity for Down syndrome detection, can be performed as early as 10 weeks of pregnancy, and is non-invasive, carrying no miscarriage risk unlike amniocentesis or CVS.
Used For

Recommended for pregnant women, particularly those 35+ years old, with abnormal ultrasound findings, family history of genetic disorders, or pregnancies via assisted reproduction.
